What is Vetiver? Vetiver is an aromatic tall grass popularly grown in South Indian regions. It is traditionally known as “Khus” and has a variety of benefits for the body. Our Vetiver is grown traditionally in a farm in Karnataka.
Cooling properties: Roots of vetiver are considered to be extremely cooling for the body. It reduces the body heat and is a great alkaliser. This is strongly suggested for those with excess body heat. Drink Khus infused water to get the benefits.
Vetiver infused water: To make Vetiver infused cooling water, just place some Vetiver roots in drinking water. Let them steep into the water for few hours. Enjoy this therapeutic, healing water. Or just tie the herbs in muslin cloth and add to the earthen pots filled with water, to lend its flavor & benefits to water.
